Received the Houston Delphian Chapter Award to provide hardware for students to create electronic portfolios in the College of Education, Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
Rewrote a grant to the Texas Council for Humanities to fund a web-based educational multimedia resource about Houston's civil rights movement.
Authored American Association of University Women grant to create a website for technology related gender equity issues.
Authored Eisenhower grant for Science, Math and Technology training for in-service teachers.
Co-authored a funded Project OWLink proposal for continue and extend a teledistance project and teacher training in teledistance and Internet technologies.
Authored grant submitted to Compaq Corporation to fund Project Constellation - a training grant for K-12 teachers at a Professional Development Laboratory School. Monies from the grant funded teacher training that enabled participants to infuse Internet technologies into classroom activities. |
